Scott Stallings captured the 2012 True South Classic with a commanding performance, setting a tournament record at 24-under par 264. He shot a final-round 4-under 68 to defeat Jason Bohn by two strokes.

Stallings dominated the tournament after posting back-to-back 8-under 64s in the second and third rounds, giving him a one-stroke lead entering Sunday. He maintained steady play throughout the final day.

"He played really well, swung the club well, made the putts when he needed to make the putts, and that's the way you win."

— Billy Horschel

The decisive moment came on holes 16 and 17, where Stallings made back-to-back birdies to seal the victory. His only blemish was a bogey on the 14th hole, ending a remarkable 54-hole streak without a bogey.

At 27 years old, this represented Stallings' second career PGA Tour victory and first of the 2012 season.

In an emotional moment following the victory, Stallings announced to television crews and the crowd that his wife Jennifer was pregnant with their first child!
